How it works
It runs on the school clock
Every school carries its own timezone, so the countdown is right whether you open it in the building or three states away.
No account, ever
Your school, your class names, your room numbers and your lunch period are saved on your own device. Nothing is sent to us.
You pick the schedule
Early release, late start, assembly, A/B day — choose it once and everything recalculates. We never guess why the schedule changed.
Questions
Is the time right if I am in another timezone?
Yes. Every school carries its own timezone, and the countdown runs on the school's clock, not yours. A parent travelling or a student on a trip sees the bell that is actually ringing in the building.
How do I set my lunch period?
On your school's page, choose your sitting from the "Your lunch" menu under the schedule. The countdown then follows your lunch, and the choice is remembered on your device.
What if my school is running an early release or a late start?
Pick that schedule on the school page. Everything recalculates at once, and the choice holds for the rest of the day before going back to the usual schedule tomorrow.
Do I need an account?
No. Your school, class names, room numbers and lunch period are saved in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us.
Where do the bell times come from?
From the schedule each school or district publishes. Every school page links the document its times were taken from, so you can check them yourself.
My school is not listed. What can I do?
We add schools every week. Try searching by the school's initials, its city or its district, since names are often written more than one way.
